Most of our mandalas are made exclusively of wool so rubbing and friction will cause felting. Use a damp towel to blot dust off but no scrubbing. A light vacuum or compressed air will remove any dust from your Mandala. Allow some distance so the design is not forced to move. Mandalas can also be taken down and patted lightly from the back like you would care for a small rug. Or hang outside to air. Though they are not extremely fragile, they can still break. Use care when cleaning, moving, or hanging. When moving hold by the sticks rather than the yarn. Avoid exposure to sunlight which can cause fading.
Each mandala has a loop for hanging positioned at the balance point on the back. For optimum appearance on a wall we suggest a hook that extends at least one inch from the wall allowing the top and bottom of the mandala to be parallel to the wall. We recommend mounting in a place without sun exposure as this may cause fading.
